Konrote happy with efforts of companies and organizations

Minister for Employment Jioji Konrote says he is convinced that the efforts and experiences of companies and organizations engaged in Quality Control Circles will improve productivity.

Konrote made the statement while addressing employers and industrial representatives at the National Convention on Quality.

Konrote says he will ensure that the Ministry continues to pursue the attainment of decent employment standards through the promotion of employment opportunities, fair employment conditions, good faith employment relations and productive workplaces.

‘’As Minister of Employment, Productivity and Industrial Relation, I am convinced with the efforts and experiences of our companies and organizations engaged in QCC. As such, I will ensure that the Ministry continues to pursue the attainment of decent employment standards through the promotion of employment opportunities, promotion of healthy and safe working environment, fair employment conditions, good faith employment relations and productive workplaces’’.

Konrote says there is a need for workers and to raise their level of competitiveness to become globally recognized and to develop a distinguishable repute because we can no longer exist in isolation.
