INTIAZ KHAN
Newly appointed Suva football coach Intiaz Khan is excited and has set his target for the 2019 season.
Khan thanked the Suva football executives for believing in him to lead the team this season.
He says he is ready and at the same time he is asking their fans to be patient as the transformation of the team under his leadership will take some time.
“It will take a while to settle in and the players to settle in and to understand me and me to understand them. The style I want, something different we’ll do with the latest modern soccer, the concept of training, the training I got the senior coaches through Fiji FA. I’m happy that I’ve been chosen and give me time.”
Khan, a former Suva and national rep, took over from Gurjit Singh, who coached Suva in the Inter-District Championships last year.
Meanwhile, the Vodafone Premier League will start next week.
