Kawakawavesi 1 Crossing on Kawakawavesi Road in Seaqaqa, Macuata will be temporarily closed for maintenance work from Wednesday.

The Fiji Roads Authority says this is a planned closure that will allow their contractor to carry out works such as concrete redecking of the existing crossing.

Motorists are urged to plan their travel accordingly and use available alternative access through Lalakoro Road, Zailav Road and Navidamu Road

The crossing will be open to traffic from midday Sunday.
