The Japanese Ambassador to Fiji, Masahiro Omura met the Commissioner of Police Brigadier General Sitiveni Qiliho this morning.

An overview of the Force was presented to him by the Deputy Director Strategic Planning, Research and Development Superintendent of Police Mahendra Shyam.

SP Shyam also highlighted the organizational structure and operational challenges confronting the institution in modern day policing.

A brief was also given regarding Community Policing in Fiji.
