Investment by school committees, parents and teachers will benefit future generations.

Officiating at fundraising for Sacred Heart Primary School in Navosa – Assistant Minister for Youth and Sports, Alipate Nagata says such investment is like planting a seed that will grow into fruition later in life.

Nagata says to invest in school infrastructure means that we are working towards the future of education.

Encouraging parents, the Assistant Minister says that such events encourage a good relationship between parents and teachers – which is one of the founding dynamics for good school management.

He says the Government has introduced various initiatives to ensure Fijian children get a good education and the obligation is on parents to ensure children attend school.

The Minister says such initiatives also challenges parents to find other means to contribute to the education of their children.
