Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama says his dedication to investing in the country’s infrastructure network stands as one of his proudest accomplishments.

Speaking at the ground breaking ceremony of a new footbridge at Tobuniqio Village in Tailevu, Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama says his government has provided infrastructure for all Fijians.

“It’s also one of the most visible signs of progress that we have, proof of the many benefits of the economic prosperity that all of Fiji has enjoyed over the course of the year, past few years alone.”

Bainimarama says the government has been able to invest twice as much on infrastructure projects by borrowing the same amount of money as they are saving on operational expenses, while expanding the amount they put into fiscal construction.
