Higgins Fiji have started pothole repair works along the Queens and Kings Road which were affected during the heavy downpour earlier this week.

Fiji Roads Authority says once this is under control they will move in the central business district areas and residential areas.

A number of roads and Irish crossing are still flooded at the moment and FRA contractors will continue to carry out reinstatement work as the
Water level recedes.

Members of the public have been urged to exercise extreme caution on the Bau Tikina Road.
