A heavy rain alert remains in force for the whole of Fiji.

According to Fiji Met for Vanualevu, Taveuni, nearby smaller islands, Yasawa and Mamanuca group, the northern and western parts of Viti Levu there will be occasional rain which may become heavy at times.

Localized heavy falls may lead to flash flooding of low lying areas, so those in flood prone communities are to remain vigilant.
