The Fiji Revenue and Customs Authority staff received a 24% pay rise yesterday.

Minister for Economy, Aiyaz Sayed Khaiyum says the government recognizes the efforts of people who needed to be paid the right salary.

He says it’s important that the staff carries out their work to the best of their ability, leaving no rooms for complains from members of the public.

FRCA Chief Executive, Visvanath Das welcomed the increase saying it was a boost for the workers.
