Coordination and working together is vital in delivering better and quality roads for all Fijians.
This was stated by FRA’s Project Engineer Zaina Khan while speaking at the AG’s conference.
Khan has stated that it was through proper planning which enable them to complete the current year three road upgrading timeline.
“The current timeline we have just finished year three, if we have done it differently we would just be finishing land acquisition, thats it you would have seen anything done.”
The highlight for this year was the completion of the Nabouwalu to Dreketi Highway.
Khan says FRA will work towards an acceleration programme to carry out roads upgrade around the country.
The government has allocated a record $635.7 million to upgrade and repair roads in 2016.
