Tropical Cyclone Winston is continues to move further away from Fiji.

Fiji Meteorological Officer director Ravin Kumar says most warnings have now been cancelled.

“We have cancelled all warnings that we had. Now we only have the flood warnings in force for the low lying areas downstream from the Navolau station along the Rewa River. At all times we need to take precaution. We are still in the wet season and during this time we normally get isolated heavy falls and while the ground is still saturated, we have got rivers rising. Though rivers are receding in some areas people need to take caution at all times.”
