Students of five secondary schools will be sitting for the Year 10 Certificate exams for the very first time this morning.
Uluivalili Secondary School, Vatuvonu Secondary School, South Taveuni Secondary School, Ratu Lalabalavu Secondary School and Saint Francis College will join the list of exam centres.
14,937 for web will be the writing the exams.
Education Minister Dr. Mahendra Reddy has urged the students to enjoy their exams and do their very best.
Reddy adds Year 10 level is an important level as students prepare themselves to choose their career pathway in Year 11.
He says the subjects they take up in Year 11 will very much determine the future career pathway a student will take.
Reddy has urged parents to provide their children with all the support they need in this important time.
