Precautionary approach allows for the protection of venerable species during uncertainties, at times managers are faced with a task of trying to find the balance supporting commercial activities against the loss of vulnerable species.”

He add they will ensure there’s sustainable harvest of marine resources.

There is currently a marine inventory survey being conducted which is a collection of scientific data that allows the ministry to address the threats faced by our vulnerable coastal areas and its resources.
