Three lives have been lost in a fire that broke out in Navakai, Nadi early this morning.

The officers had to force their way into the house through the front and back doors.
National Fire Authority chief executive Manasa Lesuma, says it’s sad that three lives were lost.
The victims are believed to be the 70-year-old woman who owns the house, her daughter in her 50s and her defacto husband.
Lesuma says they are working with Police as part of a joint investigation.
The NFA CEO adding that this tragic incident is yet another harsh reminder to the public to stay vigilant and aim to prevent such fire incidents and the unfortunate loss of life.
