“ Hopefully they’ll now think that okay now I got paternity leave, I’ve now got family care leave, I ‘ve got my annual leave, I’ve got my sick leave so every time that I work I will make sure I’ll will 120%. So that’s the kind of culture we’re creating.”

These leaves include a fully paid five day Family Care Leave that all employees can utilize each year, a five day paid paternity leave and paid maternity leave has been increased from 84 workers days to 98 working days.

Sayed-Khaiyum was speaking at the 2018/2019 budget roadshow for tertiary students at the Fiji National University in Suva today.
