Fiji not immune to major crime: Qiliho

July 5, 2016 10:25 pm

Police Commissioner Brigadier General Sitiveni Qiliho says Fiji is not immune to horrific crimes, however it cannot be compared to what happens in other countries.

This was highlighted by following the discovery of decomposed body parts of two foreigners in Natadola beach, a popular tourist destination and one of Fiji’s more high profiled beaches.

Brigadier General Qiliho says it is the job of the Police to look into crimes and investigate such matters with the community’s assistance and support to maintain law and order of the country.
