“This is not a subject that we can say it’s a taboo subject. You know it ain’t because it’s in our faces right now. We turn on the news, we see some kind of violence happen. We see something literally about drugs that’s happening and we can’t a person that lives in a bubble. We can’t be naive because drugs doesn’t discriminate. It crosses all boarder. Drugs doesn’t even care what gender you are, what religion you are, or what village you’re from, whether you’re rich or you’re poor – it affects us all the same.”

Volatabu is urging churches, NGO’s and other relevant bodies to step up and help the Fiji Police Force in combating drug in Fiji.
