The Prime Minister says that students, especially those in the western division would have to struggle in the wake of two separate floods this year.

He says for too long the students have been away from schools and this will affect their results and hence all schools need to be operational by Tuesday.

Bainimarama has also instructed authorities to ensure that students are provided the basic resources when they return to school next week.

The Prime Minister says that his government will continue to identify ways of helping families and students that have been affected especially those that have lost uniforms, books, and other stationery.

Officials have assured the Prime Minister that all schools will open on Tuesday.
