Fiji and Georgia to sign Visa Free Agreement

Fijians will soon be able to travel to Georgia without a visa.

This is the highlight of Georgia’s Deputy Foreign Minister’s two-day visit to Fiji.

The official signing of the Visa Free Agreement between the two countries will be held in Suva today.

Alexander Khvtisiashvili will also be holding high-level meetings and focus on relationship-building during his trip which begins today.

During his stay, he will be meeting the Minister for Defence and National Security, Minister for Industry and Trade and the Speaker of Parliament.

The Georgian Minister is also expected to meet with representatives from the business sector, providing an opportunity for increased trade and investment between the two countries.

Fiji and Georgia first established diplomatic relations in March 2010.
