Fiji Airways is looking to commence direct flights to Singapore in 2016.

Board Chair Nalin Patel says the airline is currently working hard to finalize the required Government, industry and airline partnerships which are crucial for the success of the new route.

Patel says talks are also progressing in the same regard for flights to China and other potential destinations.
He adds, further details on the new route will be made available once the necessary Government, regulatory and partnership agreements are confirmed.
