A Fiji Airways flight FJ360 which left Singapore this morning for Nadi had to return to Singapore following a mechanical issue.

An airline spokesperson says the mechanical issue was faced after takeoff, causing the flight crew to return the aircraft to Singapore.

The aircraft landed without incident.

The Airline says that affected passengers are being accommodated in hotels and are awaiting confirmation on a supplementary service.

They have also apologized to all affected guests for any disruption to their travel plans, however, the safety of guests and the crew are of paramount importance.
