Fiji Airways passengers disappointed with flight delays

Fiji Airways passengers waiting at the Brisbane Airport are calling for answers from Airline authorities as some of them have missed their vacation and one family a funeral.

Australian media report, passengers have been at the airport for three days now.

Rolling Fiji Airways flight delays have affected the Nadi to Sydney, Nadi to Brisbane, Nadi to Melbourne, Nadi to Auckland and Nadi to LA routes.

Fiji Airways Manager public relations Shane Hussein told FBC News they had two issues which caused delays to a few flights.

These were illness of a pilot and one aircraft needing mechanical attention.
Hussein adds, Fiji Airways puts safety as their first priority.

He says the issues have been resolved and they will be back to schedule by tomorrow.

The airline is apologizing to affected customers for the inconvenience caused.
