FBC TV is celebrating its third birthday today.

Fiji Broadcasting CEO Riyaz Sayed-Khaiyum says three years on the journey hasn’t been easy but has been absolutely enjoyable.
After almost 60 years of success in the radio industry, the next natural step in order to reach the most number of people was to launch a television channel.

Sayed-Khaiyum says the future is exciting for FBC TV with many new programmes coming online.

“We want to be efficient, we want to streamline our work and of course, like the government has announced, there’s going to be a venture in digital television from next year and we want to be involved with that.”

Sayed-Khaiyum added FBC wants to be synonymous with the best work available… whether it is television or radio.
