It was wet, wild and soapy and had party revelers in the Sugar City of Lautoka soaked.

Media partners, FBC’s radio stations and the Fiji Festival’s Foam Party had party goers dancing under showers of foam complete with floating devices.

Fiji Festivals organizer, Sam Chand says it an ideal way to give back to the country of his birth.

“Our concept is about coming to Fiji, do an event in Fiji, make a bit of money, make a bit of profit and then go back and give it to the villagers.  So I’m from a Ba, hopefully a village in Ba, I can give back to the kids, schooling, bags, anything I can help out with.

Meanwhile, the foam party held at Lautoka’s Churchill Park on Saturday was one of the first of its kind to be held in Fiji.
