Apart from rainwater villagers use water from a desalination plant.

The desalination plant has been sitting there for a couple of years and not serving its purpose.

Villagers say the Water quality is salty and is not for consumption.

They now rely on water carting for drinking water.

More water tanks will be distributed in the coming weeks.
