The Commonwealth Secretary-General, Patricia Scotland has hailed the 20th Conference of Commonwealth Education Ministers meeting in Nadi and the Integrated Partnership Forum a success.
Scotland says that Fiji has been the best host and most of the objectives over the past few days have been met.
“We were determined to be practical and pragmatic and we were determined to come together to see how better we can help each other and how we can make sure that if you spend a penny or a pound in one of our countries you don’t have to spend the same penny or pound anywhere else.”
However, Scotland says more work needs to be done in improving the education systems.
She also says despite it been a hectic few days for top educationalist from the Commonwealth- they have been sharing information in trying to build a sustainable and resilient education system.
