Diwali has been described as a time for reflection, unity and message of good over evil by the National Federation Party Leader Professor Biman Prasad.

Professor Prasad says the religious festival also sends the message of peace and harmony.

”On behalf of the National Federation Party, I extend to everyone my very best wishes. I do hope that we as political leaders and those who are entrusted with leading our people will heed the message of Diwali and move in a direction that we can create unity, peace, harmony and goodwill amongst our people at all times.”

The NFP Leader also says that we should not forget those who are sick and those who are not able to celebrate Diwali today.
