Three people were arrested in Nadi last night following a stop and search of a suspected motor vehicle in Beverly Hills.

A total of six sachets of dried leaves suspected to be marijuana was confiscated.

The driver of the motor vehicle was a 44-year-old man who was accompanied by one 21-year-old male labourer and a 33-year-old man who is a painter all from Navoci, Nadi.

The three have been detained with the drugs yet to be analyzed.

In another incident, whilst in Field 40 Lautoka, a police officer on mobile patrol searched a 30-year-old man and found him in possession of five bullets which are foiled dried leaves alleged to be marijuana.

The suspect remains in police custody with the drugs to be analyzed.
