A man in his 40s is in police custody for allegedly stabbing a man inside a vehicle, outside a supermarket in Suva last night.

The suspect, a crew member of a fishing vessel, allegedly stabbed the victim, who is a manager of the same company with a kitchen knife.

The victim is admitted at the Colonial War Memorial Hospital.

Investigations continue.
