Two police officers charged with one count each of murder have pleaded not guilty.

Kelepi Kolinisau and Selema Tikoenaburevere are charged for allegedly murdering Josua Lalauvaki.

The alleged incident occurred following an altercation outside a Suva nightclub in September last year.

Lalauvaki died at the CWM Hospital in October last year as a result of injuries allegedly sustained by him during the police assaults.

The matter will be recalled on April 15th for pre-trial conference.

Bail has been extended for both.
