Fourteen men alleged to have been involved in the attack against Police Officers have been further remanded.

Samisoni Ralulu, Sekove Naitioko, Penioni Dirikibau, Joeli Rabuka, Livai Siga, Josevata Yaqona, Aporosa Tacaqe, Tome Sikau, Nate Yaca, Pita Gauna, Peniasi Caginiwaqaiabu, Josaia Yalovigau,Joseva Dovutuisau and Abel Williams have been further remanded in Custody by Nausori Magistrates Court.

They are charged with various offenses including common nuisance, disobedience of lawful order, serious assault, and criminal intimidation and obstructing a Police Officer.

The Magistrate has given time to all the 14 accused to seek Legal Aid assistance and to file formal bail applications.

The matter will be called again in the Nausori Magistrates Court at 9am on Friday.
