The magistrate says the matter has been transferred to the high court on the grounds that the accused committed an indictable offence.

Balewakaya’s bail application was also rejected and he’s been advised to file a formal bail application with the High Court Registry.

The case will be called at the Suva High Court on the 11th of next month.
