The mother of two has engaged new legal representation through Law Solutions’ Gavin O’Driscoll.

O’Driscoll made an application to the DPP to reduce to charge.

In an earlier sitting, it was revealed that Khan has a history of high depression with medical records at Labasa Hospital.

This prompted the Judge to request for an order to reassess Khan’s mental status, however, this matter is still pending.

Khan had earlier pleaded not guilty to the murder charge.

The matter has been adjourned to February 21st.
