Bogus realtors a concern

The Real Estate Association will work with relevant authorities to track down bogus realtors around the country.

This comes after the increase in the number of bogus realtors selling houses without a license.

Association President, Vyas Sharma says this issue has been a hindrance to registered real estate companies.

“They call themselves realtors, they don’t have an office, they’re not registered with the appropriate board and they are selling properties. I don’t know how the lawyers entertain, give them commission, how these people make money.”

Sharma says the long process of settlement to sell houses is also one of the main issues that needs to be addressed.
