Flood waters have receded in most parts of Ba.

Ba town remains closed however flood waters have receded in majority areas in Ba and their main shopping complex has been hit badly with flood waters from last night.

As I walk around the main town we can see business owners cleaning up their shops and most of them have been here since 6am and trying to assess the damage caused by the flood waters caused by the continuous heavy rain.

Majority of business owners have been here since 3am and 4am trying to secure their business.

A particular case we came a cross is of a supermarket who had to call for police intervention as people tried to take food and other items that was damaged and had been thrown out of the supermarket.

This items have been declared unsafe to consume by the health authorities.

However, Shop owners are concerned about the continuous heavy rain that may affect the country from later today as they’re worried about their business.

Walking around Ba town we can see flood debris and lots of rubbish from blocked drains around the town and also schools in these areas remain closed.
