The Adi Senikau Pageant will for the first time be televised next month by the Fijian Broadcasting Corporation.

There are many firsts for this year’s Adi Senikau Pageant which will be held tonight in Suva.

Organized as an independent event, it will also be broadcast on TV by Jejemon Producer Andhy Blake who says other than a fantastic creative and entertaining flair, it will provide a platform for a minority community to raise their concerns.

“I think the Adi Senikau platform itself is something that has always been a drawcard whenever it was held at the Hibiscus Festival so normally it was people who bought tickets to go and watch the Adi Senikau, always got to see what was involved in the production. This year we’re taking what viewers see inside the Civic Centre and we take it into every household of every Fijians that will be watching.”

The Adi Senikau pageant will have a delayed broadcast scheduled for December 7th on FBC TV.
