The 21 year old woman who drowned her four month old baby has been charged with 1 count of Infanticide.

Police Spokesperson, Inspector Atunaisa Sokomuri says the post mortem results showed that the infant died by drowning.

The woman will be appearing at the Labasa Magistrate’s court today for mention.
