A two-year-old girl has passed away after she was involved in an accident yesterday along nine miles on Kings road.

Police Spokesperson, Ana Naisoro says the 38-year-old driver was reversing his vehicle when he allegedly hit the young girl who is alleged to have suddenly appeared behind the vehicle with her bicycle.

The victim was conveyed to the Nausori health centre but was pronounced dead upon arrival.

The driver is being questioned by police.
