Sixteen other consequential Bills have been voted upon and passed by the parliament.
The motion to amend these Bills was put forward by the Finance Minister Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum and was subsequently passed by 26 votes after a debate that lasted for over an hour.
These Bills include:
Service Turnover Decree 2012, Tax Administration Decree 2009, Stamp Duties Act Cap 205, Environmental Levy and prescribed Service Turnover and for Related Matters, Airports Departure Tax Act 1986, Value Added Tax Decree 1991, Customs Act 1986, Customs Tariff Act 1986, Exercise Act 1986, Fiji Revenue and Customs Authority Act 1998, Medical Products Decree 2011, Pharmacy profession Decree 2011, National Fire Services Act 1994, Ship Registration Decree 2013, Tertiary Scholarships and Loans Decree 2014.
