A 10-year-old boy of Vuci in Nausori is the latest drowning victim.

The boy allegedly left out for a swim with his family members at around 11am today and was discovered missing half an hour later.

The alarm was raised by his family members upon which a search party was mounted by the family and villagers present.

The boy’s body was discovered few meters down the river.

His body is kept at the CWM Hospital morgue.
