A new online information portal on starting up a business in Fiji will be launched next month.

Industry and Trade Minister Premila Kumar says this is part of the reforms undertaken on the process of doing business.

Kumar says in consultation with the Singaporean Government they have begun the review and redesign process.

“We have started working particularly on our building permit process as well as starting a news business. And we would like to offer those services through digital platform.”

The government is also reviewing our current investment laws to better respond to the needs of a modern investment climate.
