South Pacific Business Development has assisted 112 of its members affected by the recent cyclones access loans for home or business rehabilitation.
SPBD is a network of microfinance organizations dedicated to eradicating poverty by empowering women in poor rural villages income-generating ventures.
Board Director Lorraine Seeto says more than 50 percent of their members in the North reported damage to homes while 78 percent lost their means of livelihood.
Seeto says TC Yasa Rehabilitation Loan can be used for house or business rehabilitation or a combination of both.
On Friday, SPBD paid out a little over $400,000 to 112 members in the North.
