Officer and civilian arrested over nightclub assault

A police officer and a 22-year-old man are in custody for allegedly assaulting a man outside a Suva nightclub this morning.

The victim is currently admitted to the Colonial War Memorial Hospital.

Police say the circumstances surrounding the incident are under investigation.
