Work on the Tamavua-i-Wai Bridge Reconstruction Project is progressing, with construction ongoing on the bridge and approach roads.
The Suva-side abutment has been completed, with curing currently underway.
The project team is also working to complete the remaining bridge piling.
Once finished, utility relocation will begin to facilitate the next stages of construction.

Overall project completion is targeted for the end of 2027.
The team continues to work closely with the consultant, contractor, JICA, and relevant utility agencies to ensure the project is carried out safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
