We can do it

October 3, 2012 5:01 am

The Fiji Sevens captain Levani Botia has admitted that the team does not possess an outright speedster, common to teams of yesteryears.

Botia says they may not have the Rupeni Caucaus or the Delasaus, what they have is a team which is fast.

He says he believes in his players.

We don’t have a speedster. The team is fast. The starting seven, the 12 players can rush up the field.

Botia, Osea Kolinisau, Apisai Domolailai, Samuela Saqiwa, Ilai Tinai, Manueli Lagai, Joji Raga, mate, Ulaiasi Lewavou, Leone Ravuetaki, Alipate Raitini, Samisoni Nasagavesi and Apisalome Waqatabu make up the 12 member team.

The team departs for Australia next week.

Fiji’s first game is against Scotland, followed by Tonga and face Australia in the last pool game on Friday.
