U21 netters eyed for senior team

National Under 21 netballers, Unaisi Rauluni and Taufa Taga could be the most likely players to step up to the national team for the Pacific Series in June.

Fiji Netball manager, Tanya Vatubua says they will be selecting 12 players to start preparing for the week-long tournament.

“We are hoping these two young players who will able be join us in our selection next week to to provide variety. We just hope that the selection will be done fairly and also the girls have all be given a good chance to wear the national colours."

Fiji are the defending champions of the Pacific Series.

They have defended the title successfully for the last three years when it was held in Samoa, the Cook Islands and Papua New Guinea.
