Team Fiji that represented our nation to the 2017 Commonwealth Youth Games in the Bahamas arrived home this morning.

Fiji Chef De Mission, Tom Tiko says despite Fiji not winning many medals in the Commonwealth Youth Games last week, our athletes showed an impressive performance in breaking few records.

“In swimming they broke about six national records and set about eight personal best. We look at athletics, two of the athletes clocked personal best as well and we look at the rugby men’s team, they dint win anything in the last games but they walked away with bronze this year.”

Team Fiji will be welcomed in a thanksgiving at a dinner at Suva’s Holiday Inn at 6pm on Saturday.
