Tabadamu maintains unbeaten run at Marist 7s

Defending champions Tabadamu Blues is hopeful it will successfully defend the prestigious 43rd Marist 7s title this weekend.

The side has been struggling in its pool matches after losing some of its key players due to international duties.

Tabadamu 7s Technical Adviser Ulaiasi Bolalailai says their players are working extra hard to stamp a mark at Marist 7s as they are missing some of their key players.

“Few of the players have been moving abroad, Luke Lutunavanua, Atanasio Murimuri, and Glen Cakautini they are in Malaysia at the moment playing in an international invitation 7s. Samu Bale has been drafted to the Wardens team and including Josefa Bilo in the Green.”

Tabadamu has been crowned Marist 7s champions four times in a row.
Meanwhile, former Fiji Airways 7s rep Amenoni Nasilasila helped Ratu Filise beating Waimanu Green 19 0.

In other match results, Army Green beat Blue Gas Bula Tale 22 0, Wardens won against Fiji Gold 47 0, Gau Kacau Knights upset Westerland Natadra Young Boys 12 5.
