Ireland has secured a place as a core team on the World Rugby 7s Series 2020 after beating Hong Kong in the final of the qualifier in Hong Kong.
The Anthony Eddy’s side finished up 28-7 victors in the competition-decider and put to bed the heartache of 12 months ago in considerable style.

The victory means Ireland will become one of the 15 core teams contesting the 10-round World Series.
