The Fiji Airways men’s 7s team is wary of their first pool opponent Wales at the Hamilton tournament which kicks off tomorrow.
Coach Gareth Baber says Wales will come prepared and will try to spoil their game plan to set their platform early into the tournament.
“They will be a team who want to try and hit us early and ensure that they can get some momentum in the game but obviously what we will do is focus on the elements that we can control and the way that we can play the game and utilize our part of the game as well the pace we have on the field.”
Fiji is pooled with Australia, Wales and Argentina.
They face Wales in their first game at 10.52am tomorrow.
